Cheaper Way to Go Still Going....

Well our work on our latest film "A Cheaper Way to Go" is still moving forward. Shooting is finished and post production is moving forward. The initial plan was for the film to be 10 minutes long. It looks like now it may be slightly longer, maybe in the 15 minute neighborhood. Music for the film is also progressing with a theme song and some bed music written and in the rehearsal stage by the band. Hopefully we'll get at least the theme song recorded within the next three weeks.

Our previous documentary films have all been shot in standard 4 : 3 aspect ratio. We decided for this film to move to 16 : 9. In the beginning that was a total nightmare for post production. There was a lengthy (at least it seemed lengthy at the time) process to getting the editing hardware and software to properly see the widescreen format. But now that it's all working properly I don't regret the move to widescreen. So far, the film looks great.
